About the Role: 

At Tailor Brands, we empower businesses worldwide to bring their ideas to life. As our Compliance Manager, you’ll play a role in ensuring that we adhere to legal and regulatory standards while supporting our rapid growth and global operations and products. This role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can independently manage compliance-related functions and proactively address challenges as they arise.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Draft Compliance Programs: Draft, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across the company, ensuring that our business practices align with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Privacy and Information Security: Take part in data protection and privacy compliance by partnering with tech teams to enforce policies and address emerging issues, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Marketing and Partnerships Compliance: Proactively review marketing materials and partnerships to ensure compliance with legal guidelines. You will be responsible for monitoring communications and ensuring external content meets regulatory standards.
  • Product and Corporate Compliance: Manage compliance for product launches and corporate policies, including keeping essential guides and policies up to date. Your role will be central in ensuring that all products and services comply with relevant laws from inception through launch, assisting with corporate governance, and guiding customer support in addressing customer inquiries.
  • Training and Risk Management: Involve in compliance training sessions for employees and conduct regular risk assessments. You will be expected to identify potential compliance issues independently and implement corrective actions to minimize risks.

Audit and Reporting: Perform periodic audits on company processes and prepare comprehensive compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies. Your ability to self-direct and manage these tasks is crucial to maintaining our compliance standards.



Requirements


  • English – native or near-native proficiency is a must.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within a fast-paced startup or tech environment or a tier 1 law firm (preferably in the USA).
  • A background in law, business administration, or a related field; admission to practice law in a state in the USA is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement compliance programs and manage complex regulatory requirements independently.
  • High self-learning skills with a proactive approach to staying current with evolving compliance landscapes and best practices.
  • Strong performance skills with the ability to manage all compliance aspects as a standalone function, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders across the business.
